 Chairman and non-executive Director

Mr HSU, Shu-tong

Mr HSU graduated in 1967 from the University of Notre Dame with a master degree. He later pursued post-graduate studies in economics at Columbia University. Mr HSU also received an honorary doctorate of management from the National Chiao Tung University in Taiwan in 2002.

Mr HSU, Shu-tong is the Chairman of the Company. He is in charge of formulating the overall business strategy of the Company in Mainland China. Mr HSU has more than 40 years of experience in managing businesses of the Far Eastern Group. In 2005, Mr HSU was named as Taiwan’s "Outstanding Entrepreneur of the Year" and in 2007, Far Eastern Group received the "Best Social Contributions" award. Mr HSU has more than three decades of management experience in the cement industry. He joined the Company in 1997 and was elected as the Chairman of the Board.

 Executive Directors

Mr CHANG, Tsai-hsiung

 

Mr CHANG, Tsai-hsiung is an executive Director,Mr CHANG’s primary responsibilities involve formulating the overall business strategy as well as supervising the entire operation of the Company in Mainland China. Mr CHANG has more than 40 years of experience in the cement industry in both Taiwan and Mainland China. Mr CHANG has been working for Asia Cement Group since 1963 and had served as a member of senior management of Asia Cement from 1975 to 1995. In view of Mr Chang’s contribution to Asia Cement, he has been appointed as the director of Asia Cement since 1981 and joined the Company in October 1997.

Mr.HSU,Shu-ping

Mr.HSU,Shu-ping is an executive Directorthe and the vice Chairman of the Company. Mr.HSU's principal responsibilities involve formulating the overall business strategy of the company in china.Mr.HSU graduated from stanford University witha master degree in Operation Research.Mr.HSU is brother of Mr.shu-tong,chairman and non-executive Director of the Company.

Dr WU, Chung-lih 

Dr WU, Chung-lih is an executive Director of the Company, the chief executive officer and chief administrative officer of the Company. Dr WU is responsible for the entire operation of the Company in Mainland China. Dr WU has extensive teaching and research experience in Taiwan and the United States. Dr WU was a senior official of the Taiwan government for the period from 1989 to 2000 and has over 12 years of administrative management experience. Dr WU served as the president of a media corporation from 2000 to 2005, and joined the Company in August 2005. Dr WU holds a PhD degree in economics from the State University of New York and has more than 30 years of experience in working for three different sectors, namely education, government and industry.

Ms.Wu,Ling-ling

Ms.Wu is an executive Director and the chief financial officer and the chief of staff of the Company.Ms.Wu has more than 30 years of experience working with international public accounting ,has financial expertise and acquisitions,working capital management,process control,and regulatory accounting and reporting.She specializes in supporting corporate strategy including streamlinling,controllership,and growth initiatives.

Mr CHANG, Chen-kuen

Mr CHANG, Chen-kuen is an executive Director, a deputy chief executive officer and the chief technical officer of the Company. Mr CHANG is responsible for the Company’s production technology and research and development activities of the Company. Mr CHANG has more than 40 years of experience in engineering and management in the cement industry. Mr CHANG joined Asia Cement Group in 1968 and joined the Company in November 1997. Mr CHANG graduated from Taipei Technical Institute majoring in mechanical engineering.

Mr LIN, Seng-chang

Mr LIN, Seng-chang is an executive Director, a deputy chief executive officer and the chief marketing officer of the Company. Mr LIN is responsible for formulating and implementing the sales and marketing strategies of the Company. Mr LIN has more than 40 years of sales and management experience in the cement industry. Mr LlN joined Asia Cement Group in 1962 and joined the Company in October 1999. Mr LIN graduated from National Taipei College of Business.


 Independent Non-executive Directors

Mr TSIM, Tak-lung

Mr TSIM, Tak-lung Dominic is an independent non-executive Director of the Company. Mr TSIM is a director of a number of companies and funds listed on the stock exchanges in Hong Kong and New York respectively. Mr TSIM is a justice of the peace and has served two terms on the Central Policy Unit of the Hong Kong government. Mr TSIM graduated from the University of Hong Kong in 1968 with a bachelor’s degree in English.

Mr. LEE, Kao-chao

Mr.LEE,Kao-chao,has served as an independent non-executive Director of the Company since April 2015.Mr.LEE served as an indepengent director of Asia Cement Corporations from June 2005 to June 2014.

Mr. WANG Wei

Mr. WANG Wei, has served as an independent  non-executive Director of the Company since April 2015.Mr.WANG is the vice president of **China National Materials Company Limited.Mr.WANGgraduated from Nanjing University of Technology in January 1982,majoring in cement engineering.He is currently a professorate senior engineer.

Dr. WANG, Kuo-ming

Dr.WANG,Kuo-ming has served as an independent  non-executive Director of the Company since October 2015.Dr.WANG is currently the Universiity Emeritus Professor of Yuan ZeUniversity and he keeps leading the promotion and development in gerontechnology in Taiwan.
